Good news!!!!

Okay, things are looking up. I just got the call that the Appraiser will amend the condition to only building a rail on the north side of the deck, which he claims is 30" (but measured at 29.75"). Rob and I are on our way over to the house tonight to start the work. If nothing else comes up, we should be able to meet out tentative closing date 8/28. Thanks for your thoughts and prayers. LN
